Finca Torremilanos was founded by Calixto Seijas in 1903. Seijas started producing red wines in an area dominated by the ¨Clarete¨ style wines (or pale red wines). By 1975, Pablo Peñalba López bought the estate (60 ha of nice old vines) and quickly transformed them. Peñalba not only planted new vineyards and varieties but within a year of acquisition, developed estate-bottling as the norm with wines being aged in oak, destined for the crianza and reserva designations. In 1988, we established an in-house cooperage which to this day produces most of the estate’s own 225L French and American oak barrels.

  • Montecastrillo Tinto (Red Wine): Hand picked vineyards. Organic Certified farming. As of 2015, Torremilanos estate obtained¨ Demeter” certification as biodynamic producers.
  • Los Cantos de Torremilanos(Red Wine): Biodynamic farming Organic farming. Finca Torremilanos is certify by ¨ Demeter” as biodynamic producers.

  • Torremilanos Crianza (Red Wine)
  • Torre Albéniz Reserva (Red Wine): : Hand picked vineyards. Organic Certified farming. As of 2015, Torremilanos estate obtained¨ Demeter” certification as biodynamic producers.
